GTS was formed by Mr. Surinder Rampal in the year 1990 . Mr. Surinder Rampal had a vast experience in hospitality industry and was last working in Lodhi Hotel , ITDC group . In the year 1990 Mr. Surinder Rampal took early retirement from his job and laid the foundation of Green Tourist from a humble beginning with only 1 car . By the year 1996 the company was still small but growing and had reached 10 cars .

In the year 1996 Mr. Rohit Rampal joined the company as second Director , with his futuristic vision and new ideas , the company grew from 10 cars to around 300 cars , of all range and brands , from economy sedan as Dzire/Etios to premium sedans like Merc/BMW/Hiace and all .

Rohit Rampal changed the old fashioned style of working with new systems and process . And took the company from a support staff of 3 employees to a 30+ strong  back office support . He created an organized work set up with different dept. . Like the operation team , with ops head , maintenance manager with 24/7 breakdown helpline staff , HR team for all statutory compliances and proper documentation and background verification of all recruitments in company ( office staff/drivers ) , Customer relation/ marketing team , accounts head with billing team .

Under the guidance of Rohit Rampal Green Tourist changed with the changing dynamics of the travel sector , and has a vast experience of providing end to end solution from Expat , Adhoc , Airport , delegations to ETS . And also created a strong Pan India vendor base to provide services to it’s customers anywhere in India . Became a one stop shop .

Rohit Rampal is an economics graduate from Delhi University .
